Si Wei · Swayed

The hardest working SEO expert in Malaysia

That is a big claim, and it is not a qualification anybody can hand you. So rather than repeat it louder, here is what it is supposed to mean — in terms you can hold me to.

What “hardest working” is supposed to mean

You talk to the person doing the work

No account manager relaying your question to someone you never meet. The person who answers your message is the person in your Google Business Profile and your site.

The boring work gets done

Most local SEO is unglamorous: checking that your name, address and phone match across every listing, fixing the ones that drifted, writing the service page nobody wants to write. It is also most of what actually moves rankings.

You are told what changed, and what did not

Including the months where the honest answer is "not much yet". SEO has a lag, and hiding that behind a dashboard full of rising green lines is how the industry got its reputation.

The site and the SEO are one job

A fast, well-built site and the work to get it found are not two separate purchases here. Ranking a slow site is pushing water uphill, and a beautiful site nobody finds is a brochure.

Who you are actually hiring

I am Si Wei. I run Swayed, a small web design and local SEO practice working with businesses across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor — architects, interior designers, dentists, and service businesses whose customers are within driving distance.

Small is the point rather than an apology for it. Local SEO rewards someone paying close, repeated attention to a handful of businesses: noticing that a directory has your old phone number, that a competitor has started collecting reviews faster than you, that the page bringing in enquiries last year has quietly slipped to the second screen. That is attention, not headcount, and it does not survive being spread across two hundred accounts.

It also means I am the one accountable. If your rankings have not moved, there is nobody for me to point at.

The work

Tell me what is going wrong.

Not ranking, not getting enquiries, or a site you have been meaning to replace for years. Tell me what it is and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth paying someone to fix.
